Penni McDaniel is the owner and agent with Hope River Entertainment – a full-service music entertainment agency founded in 2001. She began by handling booking and publicity for the original Pine Mountain Railroad achieving 200+ tour dates for the first year. 

As a Publicist, she has successfully booked clients on TV shows such as Ryan Holladay’s performance on the Oprah Winfrey Show’s “World’s Most Talented Kids” episode and numerous promotional appearances like the late Tim Hensley’s incredible Grand Ole Opry performance with special guests Kenny Chesney and Buddy Cannon. In addition, Penni served as the publicist for Lonesome River Band for 12 years.

Current clients include Volume Five, Larry Cordle, Dave Adkins, Larry Stephenson, Donna Hughes, Shannon Slaughter, James Reams and The Barnstormers, Jesse Brock, Caleb Bailey, and Kim Robins. 

Previous event publicity clients include: Huck Finn Jubliee in California, the Bill Monroe Music Park in Bean Blossom, Indiana, and more.

Since 2002, she has worked Album Publicity for countless projects by artists and record labels such as Michael Martin Murphey, Larry Cordle, Larry Stephenson Band, Lonesome River Band, Rodney Dillard, Carrie Hassler, Detour, Donna Hughes, Blue Moon Rising, Marty Raybon,  Melonie Cannon (including her duet and video with Willie Nelson,) Rural Rhythm Records, Lonesome Day Records, and so many others. In 2005, Hope River Entertainment handled publicity for Bell Witch: The Movie, Soundtrack.

Many albums have garnered features and reviews in mainstream media outlets such as Country Weekly Magazine, high sales resulting in Billboard Top 10 Bluegrass Chart success, and numerous awards and nominations from organizations such as IBMA, Recording Academy’s Grammy Awards, GMA Dove Awards, SPGBMA, any many more. 

As a Radio Promoter, she has worked with countless projects that achieved #1s on various charts. These charts include Sirius XM Bluegrass Junction Most Played Tracks and Albums charts, Sirius XM Top 40, Bluegrass Today Top 20 Weekly and Top 20 Monthly, Bluegrass Today’s Grassicana, Bluegrass Unlimited, Americana Music Chart, Roots Music Report, smaller market Country charts, and several other radio album and singles charts.
