Nashville, TN (4.23.07) Blue Circle Records is proud to announce the March release of the album Carolina Road by bluegrass band, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road. Newest band member Jerry Butler has proved to be a great addition to the group and many are calling this the best album to date by Carolina Road. Butler provided lead vocals on the numerous songs including the title cut, Carolina Road written by Dixie and Tom T. Hall and Can’t You Hear the Mountain Calling, penned by Jerry Williamson. "Fresh, clean, clear, enjoyable, killer...take your pick to describe the new CD from Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road," said Larry Nixon of the Pine Cone bluegrass Show, WQDR Radio, Raleigh, NC.
Musicians on the CD include: Lorraine Jordan (lead vocals, mandolin); Jerry Butler (lead vocals, guitar);
Josh Goforth (fiddle, vocals); Ben Greene (banjo, vocals); Todd Meade (bass); and guest,
